Welcome, and thank you for following us on our 2023 Underground Railroad bicycle tour! What a journey. We “followed the drinking gourd” ~1500 miles along Adventure Cycling Association’s curated heritage route, pedaling through slave markets, the “borderlands” of Kentucky, across the Ohio River through “free-states”, and finally into Canada.  It was a ride through history. It was a ride of hope. It was a visceral, transformative experience.  Peace and courage to you all!
